  11.             il_eoe which will cause a conflict with il_dev if it
  12.             has been installed previously.  To work around this
  13.             problem, the 2.5 version of il_dev needs to be
  14.             installed.  To acquire the 2.5 version of il_dev
  15.             contact your local Silicon Graphics representative.

  17.           +o If you already have a World Wide Web Server installed
  18.             on your system, we advise you to read through the
  19.             release notes for the OutBox product before you install
  20.             your Desktop Special Edition software.  If you are
  21.             running early releases of the Netscape Communications
  22.             Server (prior to version 1.12), Silicon Graphics
  23.             recommends that you upgrade to version 1.12. It is
  24.             important to read the release notes for version 1.12
  25.             prior to installing it.

  27.           +o For proper functioning of SoundPlayer you must install
  28.             dmedia_eoe.sw.midi from the Desktop Special Edition CD.

  30.           +o Do not install the Showcase 3.3.3 product if you are
  31.             running in the Japanese, Korean or Chinese locales.
  32.             Instead, install the version of Showcase that appears
  33.             in the latest version of the language module for your
  34.             locale. If you have already installed Showcase 3.3.2 or
  35.             Showcase 3.3.3 you must install patch 1005 to restore
  36.             the CID font capability.
